Carrot cake, also called Cream Cheese Carrot Cake, is made by mixing all of the dry ingredients together and adding a little bit of brown sugar to one of your mixer bowls.
Mix the dry ingredients until they are completely smooth.
Then, add about a cup of water or milk to the cream cheese and mix it in well until it just begins to stand on end.
Mix together two cups of flour, a teaspoon of baking soda and about two-thirds cup of sugar into the wet ingredients and then add the mixture to the dry ingredients.
Mix until all the ingredients are combined. Pour batter into 9 "round cake pan and bake.When done, it will have a very light brown on top and a fluffy, moist cake that is perfect for eating as is or you can add some fruit to the cake.
